Gary Roberson of Menard, TX has been successfully calling predators for 55 years. He began his calling obsession when he was just 10 years old. Throughout the years Roberson has became one of the most recognized predator hunters in the nation. He is mostly known for being the owner of Burnham Brothers game calls and the host of Carnivore T.V. where he can be seen calling coyotes, fox, bobcats, and even running hounds to tree mountain lions.
Being around the hunting industry for a long period of time, Roberson has had the opportunity to take several different hunters along with him while calling predators. Whether it be a newcomer to the sport or one of the many hunting manufacturer reps that he has been able to take hunting over the years, Roberson has learned that most hunters struggle with shooting without a rest. Dealing with this struggle many times is one of the reasons that he likes the versatile Swagger Bipods. “When someone is using a gun rest, they need to have something that flexes when moving side to side, this is where the Swagger Bipods shine” says Roberson.
Roberson admits that when he first saw the Swagger Bipods, he thought they looked awkward and even wondered how they would work attached to a gun. However, once he began using them he fell in love with the spring loaded Crazy Legs, which he says is the main reason that they are so versatile. The other feature that he says makes them so great is the ease of use which can make shooting easier for any hunter.
On a recent episode of Carnivore TV, Roberson featured two ladies who were Miss Rodeos on a predator hunt in Texas. Both ladies were new to the sport, however throughout their hunt they never missed. Roberson and the two ladies give all the credit to the Swagger Bipods allowing them to get on the target to stay steady, and to make a successful shot.
Throughout 55 years of hunting predators, Gary Roberson has been able to try a lot of new products along the way. “The Swagger Bipods is one of those products that truly makes a hunter more successful, anybody can use the Swaggers” says Roberson.
