Here at Fur and Fangs Magazine, we always enjoy testing new products that become available in the predator hunting world. One of my personal favorites to try out is electronic game callers, and this time I had the privilege to try Lucky Ducks NEW Revolution electronic game call.
This remote controlled, high output e-caller features exceptional volume, motorized decoy, HD video camera and a remote controlled rotating base system that lets the operator broadcast sound 360 degrees. The high output speaker on the Revolution creates great sound that will reach predators at great distances such as when hunting in desert open areas. The motorized decoy worked great as well, creating enough motion to grab the attention of approaching predators quickly. My favorite feature of the caller was that the decoy conveniently stored inside the handle when not in use.
This was a great feature because I have had problems in the past of losing the topper of decoys when walking or traveling to the next location. Being that it stores inside the caller will prevent this from happening. Another great unique feature of this e-caller is the remote controlled HD video camera that is built into the caller to record up close and personal predator action.
The SD card removes from the caller to transfer to a computer for editing and uploading to social media. I was surprised at the quality of video that comes from the small compact camera, the audio was great as well as the picture quality. The rotational base system features a tripod style leg system that lets the caller broadcast sound 360 degrees for multi-directional calling.
The Revolution comes with 100 preloaded sounds, including predator, crow and snow goose sounds. The sounds have been compiled by The Verminator, Rick Paillet, and have been used to win the World Coyote Calling Contest. The Revolution will hold up to 2,000 sounds and will play .mp3, .wav, and .LD (proprietary) sounds. The remote control has a 300+ feet distance range which is more than will ever be needed.
The Revolution runs on 10 AA batteries and the remote runs on 3 AA batteries (not included).
